Outback Gives Back

On Saturday, May 30th, as part of their "Outback Gives Back" initiative in partnership with WE International Philippines, a group of staff from The Outback Steakhouse restaurant took the time to travel to the Smokey Mountain Garbage Dump. The group brought donations and gifts for the children, volunteered at the feeding program, and spent time with the Young Focus scholars at the Student Center. On what was a very hot day, the volunteers worked cheerfully in the sun serving food to the children who live in the dumpsite. This was the first of many initiatives that WE International Philippines and Outback have planned together. Thank you, Outback, for your time and generosity! WE are grateful to have you as our partners and look forward to future collaborations.
