WE International Philippines and the Palawan Project Foundation

In cooperation with the Palawan Project Foundation, WE International Philippines is helping bring clean, potable drinking water to the communities in Palawan. With the use of bio-sand filters, a concrete container that has different grades of gravel and sand which uses suffocation and predation [simply stated, when good bacteria kills and does away with bad bacteria] over 200 liters or 50 gallons a day, of pure water is produced. These filters help eradicate dysentery and typhoid and promote better health in the community. WE International Philippines is looking forward to future collaboration on more projects with the Palawan Project Foundation.
