WE International Philippines and the Stork Exchange

Glam-o-Mamas Amanda Jacob and Nicole Jacinto selected WE International Philippines as the beneficiary of their first event, The Stork Exchange- an innovative Mommy Market driven by the need to recycle and re-use. At the first Stork Exchange event, held on Saturday afternoon, September 18 at the M Cafe in Greenbelt, Makati, mommies and mommies-to-be had the opportunity to swap brand new and barely used childrens' and maternity items with one another and even have their toddlers cared for in an upstairs play area while they swapped and shopped. The event, which is the first of it's type in Manila, was a big success and was both fun and eye-opening for all of the participants. At the end of the event, even after all of the swapping had been done, there were many wonderful items still remaining, including baby bottles, blankets, clothing, toys and baby books.

ALL of these remaining items Glam-o-Mamas generously donated to WE International Philippines for the work that WE does with the children in Smokey Mountain. Generous Glam-o-Mamas Amanda and Nicole also donated a portion of the cash proceeds from the event to WE International Philippines to go towards funding the programs that WE runs in the Smokey Mountain Community. WE are very excited to be part of  such a green, eco-conscious event and WE applaud Glam-o-Mamas for bringing such innovative and socially conscious events to Manila. WE thank Glam-o-Mamas for selecting WE International Philippines as a partner!
